Call for Papers: European Summer Symposium on the Cold War
Exciting announcement!
In keeping with the long-standing and thriving tradition of European Summer Schools on the Cold War, Utrecht University is currently planning a small-scale Summer Symposium where PhD candidates, early-career researchers, and senior scholars will converse about European Security, multilateral diplomacy, the (new) Cold War, and its repercussions. This will be a in person event in the Netherlands. The symposium is a great chance for PhD candidates and early-career researchers to network, deliver succinct position papers, and debate their work with peers and subject-matter authorities.
This year submissions are encouraged on multilateral diplomacy, European security, the end of the Cold War or the beginning of the New Cold War.
To apply for the Summer Symposium, prospective participants should send an e-mail to L.C.Crump@uu.nl by 15 July 2022 at 11:00 am CEST with a brief outline of their idea (200 words) and a short one-page CV.
